Look at the vastness of this prairie. Such Beauty. Intense beauty.

Wind Cave NP/South Dakota.

Wild flowers emerge according to a call from the swirling wind and driving rains that it is their time to relish the warmth of the sun, often reaching taller than the surrounding grasses for just a touch of that glowing light.  Don’t we all strive for that in our own human lives?

The land requires the pounding hooves of the buffalo to pull the ground water up, hydrating the young seedlings, encouraging their birth.

Such vast symbiosis.
